Which CBD oil is best for me?
Full or broad spectrum?

This is one of the most common questions that come up before making a purchase. The answer is not simple, as several factors come together to determine which product will provide you with the best results and which one will be the most beneficial choice in the long run.

Why do you want to buy CBD oil? This is key because in some cases, full spectrum CBD oil may provide a stronger effect, while in other situations, the broad spectrum version may be more ideal.

When is full-spectrum cannabis oil better?

Full-spectrum cannabis oil may be more effective for:
- muscle spasms
- arthritis
- low appetite
- insomnia
- thyroid disorders
- pain and nausea
- depression and cancer

Many people use CBD oil to treat high blood pressure. In their case, both types of oil, full-spectrum and broad-spectrum, can be effective.

What is a good full-spectrum cannabis oil?

You can achieve the best results if the CBD oil contains not only CBD, but also several beneficial cannabinoids.

The compounds found in cannabis enhance each other's effects - this phenomenon is called the synergy effect.

Although CBD is extracted from the plant in the largest amount, it also contains nearly 200 other valuable compounds.

Of these, there are 6-8 accompanying cannabinoids that are present in smaller but detectable amounts in CBD oil and can have a significant therapeutic effect together with CBD.

A really good full-spectrum CBD oil therefore not only builds on CBD, but also preserves as many accompanying cannabinoids as possible, which together provide a broader and more powerful effect.

Full-spectrum CANNADOLTM CBD oils contain 8 valuable cannabinoids in addition to CBD for the best therapeutic effect.

When should you not use full-spectrum CBD oil?

Do not use full-spectrum CBD oil if you are required to take a THC test at work. Full-spectrum preparations contain less than 0.2% THC, which is enough to have a therapeutic effect but will not cause intoxication, but depending on the sensitivity of the drug test used, it may detect the presence of THC and this may even cost you your job.

Do not use full-spectrum cannabis oil if you are an athlete who is tested by WADA. WADA removed CBD from its list of prohibited substances a few years ago, but only CBD, so the use of all other cannabinoids ( CBDA, CBG, CBC, CBN, THC ) is still not allowed.

Do not use full-spectrum cannabis oil during pregnancy or breastfeeding! During fetal life and after birth, the endocannabinoid system is still developing and this process can be interfered with by plant cannabinoids, especially THC, which also affects the CB1 receptors that are more concentrated in the brain.

Do not use full-spectrum CBD oil if you are taking any medication that may be affected by CBD. Do not use CBD oil if you are taking any blood thinners! Exceptions: blood thinners containing edoxaban, heparin derivatives and blood thinners containing acetylsalicylic acid.

CBD can cause low blood pressure when taken with blood pressure medication, so blood pressure should be monitored more frequently!

Cannabis products can increase the side effects of antidepressants, antihistamines, painkillers, anxiolytics, sedatives, heart medications, and muscle relaxants, so it is not recommended to use them with such medications, or only under medical supervision.

What strength of CBD oil should I choose?

If you already know whether you will use a full or broad spectrum product, the next step is to determine how strong, or more precisely, what concentrated product you need.

The concentration or "strength" of CBD oil means how much active ingredient it contains in a unit of product, say one drop.

You can ingest the same amount of active ingredient with a 900 mg oil as with a 1800 mg one, but of course, one drop of the 900 mg oil contains half as much CBD as the 1800 mg one.

We recommend that you buy a cannabis oil with a lower concentration if you have no experience with the product and want to try CBD. In other cases, you are better off with a higher concentration, because the price per unit of active ingredient is cheaper.

Why is CANNADOLTM Full Spectrum CBD Oil good?

Our full spectrum CBD oils are made using the gentlest, so-called subcritical CO2 extraction process, to preserve as many of the beneficial ingredients found in the cannabis plant as possible.

This is also why our oils contain large amounts of CBDA, the raw, acidic form of CBD, in addition to CBD. Together, the two compounds form a much more effective team, which is also strengthened by 7 different cannabis compounds and valuable terpenes.

CANNADOLTM full spectrum oils also contain less than 0.2% THC.

Our oils are regularly tested by the Austrian IFHA© institute. The analysis they issue confirms the beneficial ingredients contained in CANNADOLTM oils. You can find these analyses on the data sheet of each product.
