General Terms and Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter the “Terms”) govern the relationship between CANNADOL (hereinafter the “Seller”) and any person (hereinafter the “Customer”) who purchases goods from the Seller through the online store available at www.cannadolcbd.eu

2. General Provisions

2.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic and applicable European Union regulations, particularly the Slovak Civil Code, the Consumer Protection Act, and the Electronic Commerce Act.

2.2. The Seller may amend these Terms unilaterally. Any amendments shall be published on the Shop’s website at least 11 days prior to their entry into force.

2.3. By submitting an order, the Customer acknowledges and accepts these Terms and the Seller’s Privacy Policy (GDPR).

 

3. Ordering Process

3.1. The Customer may place an order through the Shop’s online system by selecting the desired product(s), filling in the required details, and submitting the order.

3.2. The Customer is responsible for providing accurate and truthful data.

3.3. Once the order is submitted, the Customer will receive an automated confirmation email. This confirmation serves as acknowledgment of receipt and does not constitute acceptance of the order.

3.4. The purchase agreement is concluded once the Seller confirms acceptance of the order via email.

 

4. Prices and Product Information

4.1. All prices are listed in euros (EUR) and include value-added tax (VAT) where applicable.

4.2. Prices do not include shipping or handling costs, which are calculated before order confirmation.

4.3. Product descriptions and images are for informational purposes only and may differ slightly from the actual product.

4.4. In the event of a manifest error (e.g. a product displayed with a price of €0), the Seller is not obliged to honor the incorrect price. The Seller will notify the Customer of the correct price, and the Customer may choose to accept or cancel the order.

 

5. Payment and Delivery

5.1. Available payment methods:

  • Online payment by debit/credit card (through a secure payment gateway)

  • Bank transfer

  • Cash on delivery (where available)

5.2. Delivery within EU is provided by courier or postal service. Delivery usually occurs within 2–5 business days after payment confirmation.

5.3. The Seller is not responsible for delays caused by third-party delivery services.

5.4. Upon receipt, the Customer must inspect the package. If visibly damaged, the Customer should refuse delivery or file a complaint directly with the courier and inform the Seller immediately.

 

6. Transfer of Ownership and Risk

6.1. Ownership of goods passes to the Customer upon full payment of the purchase price.

6.2. The risk of damage or loss passes to the Customer upon delivery of the goods.

 

7. Right of Withdrawal

7.1. In accordance with EU and Slovak consumer protection law, the Customer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.

7.2. To exercise this right, the Customer must send a clear statement of withdrawal (for example, by email to cbd@cannadolcbd.eu

 

8. Warranty and Complaints

8.1. The statutory warranty period is 24 months from the date of delivery.

8.2. The Customer must report any defects as soon as they are discovered, at the latest within 2 months of discovery.

8.3. The Seller will process complaints within 30 days of receipt and will inform the Customer of the outcome.

8.4. In the case of justified complaints, the Customer is entitled to:

  • Repair or replacement of the product, or

  • A reasonable price reduction, or

  • Withdrawal from the contract and refund.

 

9. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

9.1. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be governed by Slovak law.

9.2. The Customer may file a complaint with the Slovak Trade Inspection Authority (SOI) or use Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms.

10. CBD-Specific Notice

10.1. The products sold by CANNADOL are made from industrial hemp (Cannabis sativa L.) and contain cannabidiol (CBD).

10.2. These products are not medical products and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any disease.

10.3. CBD products sold comply with EU regulations, containing less than 0.2% THC.

10.4. Customers are responsible for ensuring the legality of CBD products in their own country or region.

10.5. The Seller is not liable for any customs issues, seizures, or legal restrictions outside Slovakia.

 

11. Final Provisions

11.1. The Seller may use subcontractors or third parties to fulfil contractual obligations.

11.2. If any clause of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

11.3. Failure by the Seller to enforce any right shall not be deemed a waiver of such right.
