Therefore, it was clearly established that CBDreduces inflammation and pain in the prostate throughactivation of CB2 receptors anddesensitization of TRPV1 receptors. Based on this, CBD could be a promising alternative therapy for chronic, non-bacterial prostatitis.

CBD & Prostate Cancer – What’s Behind It?

Prostate cancer is a malignant tumor disease of the prostate gland. It often develops slowly and can remain symptom-free for a long time. Later symptoms may include difficulty urinating, increased nighttime urination, urinary retention problems, and lower back or bone pain.

Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer among men worldwide.
According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO) and Globocan 2022, around 1.4 million new cases are diagnosed annually, with more than 375,000 deaths attributed to it.

It primarily affects men over 50 years old, and the risk increases significantly with age.
It is most common among those over 65, while rare under 40.
