CBD oils can be called broad-spectrum if they contain other beneficial ingredients, called cannabinoids and terpenes, in addition to CBD. CBD itself is a cannabinoid that is produced in the largest quantities by the cannabis plant, but in addition to CBD, there are many other effective compounds found in the plant. The combination and ratio of cannabinoids determines how valuable a given CBD oil is from a therapeutic point of view.
The main difference between broad and full spectrum CBD oils is that broad spectrum products do not contain THC, while full spectrum cannabis oils do.
THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is one of the most well-known active ingredients in cannabis. It is the compound responsible for the psychoactive effects of the plant, which is what causes the feeling of being “high”.
THC acts on the human body’s endocannabinoid system, just like CBD, but mainly through the CB1 receptors, which are found in large numbers in the brain and nervous system. As a result, it can affect mood, appetite, sleep, pain perception and memory.
According to medical research, THC may have positive effects, such as pain relief, appetite stimulation and nausea reduction, which is why it is used as a medicine in some countries.
This fact alone - the THC content - can decide the question of which CBD oil is better for you.
If you work in a job that involves taking occasional drug tests, then only broad spectrum can be considered. The THC content of full-spectrum CBD oils is around 0.2%, which is a small amount to cause a serious intoxicating effect, but it is not excluded that the drug test will detect it and this can lead to unpleasant explanations at work.
There are also conditions that respond better to broad-spectrum preparations, and in which cases it is more advisable to use broad-spectrum CBD oil.
Broad-spectrum cannabis oil may be more effective for:
- seizures
- depression
- anxiety
- migraines
- autism
Both broad- and full-spectrum oils may be effective for treating high blood pressure.
Do not use broad-spectrum cannabis oil if you are an athlete who is being tested by WADA. WADA removed CBD from its list of prohibited substances a few years ago, but only CBD, so the use of all other cannabinoids ( CBDA, CBG, CBC, CBN, THC ) is still not allowed.
Do not use broad-spectrum cannabis oil during pregnancy or breastfeeding! During fetal life and after birth, the endocannabinoid system is still developing and plant cannabinoids can interfere with this process.
Do not use broad-spectrum CBD oil if you are taking any medication that may be affected by CBD.
Do not use CBD oil if you are taking any blood thinners! Exceptions: blood thinners with the active ingredient edoxaban, blood thinners with the active ingredient acetylsalicylic acid and heparin derivatives.
Combined with blood pressure medication, CBD can cause blood pressure to drop too low, so blood pressure should be monitored more frequently!
"Strength" refers to the concentration, or how much active ingredient is in one drop of CBD oil.

This is best determined by the milligram amount of active ingredients and not by the "percentage" of the product. After all, you can adjust and track your dosage if you know exactly how much CBD you are using.
In the CANNADOLTM range, you will find three broad-spectrum cannabis oils, KOMPLEX 900, KOMPLEX 1800 and KOMPLEX 3600. These products contain the same active ingredients, the only difference is in the concentration, i.e. how many cannabinoids are in one drop of the oil.
So with the KOMPLEX 900 product, you can also take the same amount of active ingredients, just with twice as many drops.
The higher the concentration, the more economical the product. It is worth choosing a low concentration if you use a small daily dose or if you are just getting to know CBD oil and are unsure.
A good cannabis oil is one that contains as many beneficial ingredients as possible in addition to CBD. These compounds (cannabinoids and terpenes) enhance each other's effects, so it is important to make sure of the composition of the product before buying CBD. This is what the cannabinoid analysis is for, which you can find on the data sheet of all our products.
After harvesting, the valuable ingredients are extracted from the cannabis inflorescence using a CO2 process operating at low temperature and pressure.
At this point, we only have a raw mass with a consistency similar to honey, which we break down into elementary parts using a special process, or isolate. The result of the process is that the cannabinoids are available in a highly pure, crystalline form, which we then mix with oil pressed from the seeds of the cannabis plant and adjust the amount of active ingredients.
We pay special attention to using the most valuable, most effective cannabinoids and terpenes, which is why CANNADOLTM oils contain large amounts of CBG and CBDA, which is the raw, acidic form of CBD, in addition to CBD. Together, these compounds form a much more effective team, which is further strengthened by valuable terpenes.
Our broad-spectrum oils do not contain THC, so they can also be used by those who are required to pass drug tests at work!
Our full spectrum CBD oils are made using the gentlest, so-called subcritical CO2 extraction process, to preserve as many of the beneficial components found in the cannabis plant as possible.
This is also why our oils contain large amounts of CBDA and CBG in addition to CBD. Together, the three compounds form a much more effective team, which is further strengthened by 11 different valuable terpenes.
