WHAT TYPE OF CBD OIL SHOULD I BUY? WIDE OR FULL SPECTRUM?

There are two basic types of cannabis, or CBD oils, broad/wide-spectrum and full-spectrum. Before buying CBD oil, it is important to clarify the difference between the two products and which one is better for you. In some cases, a broad-spectrum CBD oil may be better and there are cases when it is more appropriate to choose a full-spectrum cannabis oil. Don't spend your money on a product that isn't the best for you! Read our detailed guide to help you find the best cannabis oil for you!

WHAT IS CBD OIL?

CBD oil, cannabidiol oil, cannabis oil, they all mean the same thing. CBD (cannabidiol), a natural compound in hemp or cannabis, is a so-called phytocannabinoid that is typically extracted from the inflorescence of the plant along with countless other beneficial compounds.

The raw extract itself is not yet edible. It must undergo a multi-step purification process and finally be diluted to obtain its final drop form. The result of the CO2 extraction that we use, operating at low pressure and temperature, is a honey-like mass, which is mixed with certified organic oil pressed from the hemp's own seeds to obtain a truly effective product.

HOW DOES CBD OIL WORK?

The precise mechanism of action of CBD oil is still being mapped out. The process only began in the late 1980s, when Israeli scientist Raphael Mechoulam identified the CB1 receptor in 1988, which turned out to be an important component of the endocannabinoid system (ECS).

We now know that the ECS is one of our most important biological systems, controlling a multitude of vital processes, including sleep, pain perception, appetite, and our well-being.

Some doctors believe that it is one of the most significant scientific discoveries since sterilization. CBD, and other components of CBD oil, exert their effects by influencing the functioning of the endocannabinoid system.

CBD and other cannabis compounds found in quality products help the endocannabinoid system function and can therefore have many positive effects.

WHAT EFFECTS DOES CBD OIL HAVE?

CBD PAIN RELIEF

The most well-known effect of CBD oil is pain relief. Several studies have shown that CBD can reduce the sensation of pain in chronic pain, such as arthritis pain, migraines, or neuropathic pain.

This is because CBD acts on the endocannabinoid system, which is part of the body's own pain-regulating mechanism.

It does not suppress pain like a painkiller, but rather retunes the body's own regulatory system, reducing inflammation and the intensity of pain.

THE CALMING EFFECT OF CBD OIL

CBD oil can have a calming effect, which is why it is increasingly being used to treat stress and anxiety. Scientific studies have shown that CBD can reduce anxiety symptoms because it can interact with serotonin receptors in the brain, thus promoting relaxation and calmness.

Activation of serotonin receptors (5-HT1A): CBD increases the signaling of the “feel-good” neurotransmitter, serotonin, which has a calming and anxiety-reducing effect.

Increase endocannabinoid levels: Inhibits the breakdown of anandamide, thereby strengthening the effect of the body’s natural “happiness molecule”.

Inhibition of the stress system: Reduces the excessive production of cortisol (stress hormone), so that the nervous system is less overworked.

Support of the GABA system: Indirectly increases inhibitory (calming) signaling in the brain, which promotes relaxation.

SLEEP IMPROVEMENT EFFECT OF CBD OIL

One of the best things about CBD oil is that it improves sleep quality. Research has shown that CBD can help people with insomnia achieve deeper sleep and reduce frequent nighttime awakenings. It can also help relieve chronic pain and inflammation, which are common causes of sleep disorders. By reducing pain, you can improve the quality and duration of your sleep.

CBD works through the body’s own endocannabinoid system to harmonize internal balance (homeostasis), helping to naturally regulate your sleep-wake cycle. CBD can affect the different stages of sleep, reducing excessive REM activity, which can contribute to more restful sleep and fewer nighttime awakenings.

Together, these mechanisms are responsible for CBD’s ability to effectively support better sleep, although its exact effects may vary from person to person, and more research is needed to understand the full picture.

CBD OIL AND DRUG INTERACTIONS?

Cannabis, or CBD oil, affects the use of several medications. CBD interacts with about half of the drugs on the market, and this should be taken into account before buying cannabis oil. There are preparations with which it is not recommended at all, and there are medications with which CBD should only be used with great caution, so it is always worth consulting a doctor and asking for his opinion.

WHY IS CBD OIL NOT WORKING FOR ME?

CBD oil is an increasingly popular natural supplement for relieving stress, anxiety, sleep disorders or chronic pain. More and more people are choosing it instead of traditional medications because they want to support their body’s functioning naturally. Yet, sometimes someone asks in frustration, “Why isn’t CBD oil working for me?”

The answer is often not that CBD oil is ineffective – it’s that they’re using it incorrectly or using the wrong product.

Incorrect CBD Oil Dosage

The effects of CBD oil can vary from person to person, as each person’s endocannabinoid system works differently. The ideal CBD oil dosage depends on:

body weight,

metabolism,

age,

and the problem you want to use the CBD oil fo2r (e.g. sleep, stress, pain).

Many people use too little CBD oil and then quickly decide that “it doesn’t work.” However, fine-tuning your dosage is key!

So what should you do if you don’t feel the effects of CBD oil?

- Check the dosage – it may need to be adjusted!
- Use it regularly, daily, for at least 2-4 weeks!
- Try a different spectrum CBD oil!
- Don’t expect an instant miracle – CBD oil is not a medicine, but a natural support!
- Listen to your body and consult a professional if necessary!

WHAT TYPE OF CBD OIL SHOULD I BUY? BROAD SPECTRUM OR FULL SPECTRUM?

Cannabidiol oil, also known as CBD oil, comes in two basic forms: broad spectrum and full spectrum. Before purchasing CBD oil, it’s important to understand the difference between the two products and which one is best for you. In some cases, broad spectrum CBD oil may be better, and in some cases, full spectrum cannabis oil may be more appropriate. Don’t waste your money on a product that isn’t the best for you!

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BROAD AND FULL SPECTRUM CBD OIL?

Good quality CBD oil contains several cannabinoids in addition to CBD, which enhance each other's effects. This is also confirmed by research, which the scientific literature calls a "companion effect" or synergy effect.

Both good quality full and broad spectrum products contain the cannabinoids produced in the largest quantities by the hemp plant, typically CBDA, CBG, CBN, CBC, but an important difference is that broad spectrum oil does not contain THC, which is the psychoactive compound of the cannabis plant. The accepted level of THC in CBD oils in most European countries is 0.2%, which is not enough to have a strong intoxicating effect of the product, but at this amount it already has a significant therapeutic effect.

WHICH CBD OIL IS BETTER TO YOU? FULL OR BROAD SPECTRUM?

This is one of the most frequently asked questions that has no simple answer. Which oil is best for you depends on a combination of factors.

What illness do you want to use CBD oil to treat?

In the case of psychosis, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, do not use full-spectrum CBD oil, because THC can strengthen the symptoms of the illness. In such cases, a broad-spectrum, i.e. THC-free product is a better choice.

What kind of work do you do?

To perform certain tasks, you must periodically take a drug test. Full-spectrum CBD oil contains relatively little THC, but this does not mean that a drug test will definitely not detect it, so you should not take any risks! Do not use oil containing THC if you are tested! Choose a broad-spectrum CBD product instead.

Professional athletes tested by WADA are not allowed to use broad and full spectrum CBD oil! WADA has only removed CBD from the doping list!

WHO WILL YOU USE THE CBD OIL?

THC crosses the placenta and can affect fetal development, especially brain function. During breastfeeding, THC can also be detected in breast milk, which can negatively affect the development and behavior of the baby, so during pregnancy and breastfeeding, THC-containing CBD oil, even broad-spectrum, is not recommended, because there is not enough information available about the effects of CBD on the fetus.

THC can also affect the developing nervous system. In childhood and adolescence, the brain is particularly sensitive, and THC can negatively affect cognitive function, memory and learning abilities. Long-term use can interfere with normal brain development. Do not use full-spectrum CBD products in children and adolescents. Broad-spectrum oil may be a safer option.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BROAD-SPECTRUM AND FULL-SPECTRUM CBD OIL?

High-quality CBD Oil contains multiple cannabinoids beyond just CBD, which enhance each other’s effects. Researchers have confirmed this phenomenon, referred to in the scientific literature as the "entourage effect" or synergy effect.

Both well-made full-spectrum and broad-spectrum products usually include the cannabinoids most abundantly produced by the hemp plant, typically CBDA, CBG, CBN, CBC. The key difference is that broad-spectrum oil does not contain THC, the psychoactive compound found in the cannabis plant.

The accepted THC limit in CBD Oils in most European countries is 0.2%, which is too low to cause a strong intoxicating effect. However, at this level, THC can still provide significant therapeutic benefits.

WHICH CBD OIL IS BETTER? FULL-SPECTRUM OR BROAD-SPECTRUM?

This is one of the most frequently asked questions, and there is no simple answer. Which oil is best for you depends on several factors.

What condition do you want to use CBD oil for?

In cases of psychosis, anxiety, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia, you should not use full-spectrum CBD oil, as THC may worsen the symptoms of these conditions. In such cases, broad-spectrum (THC-free) products are the better choice.

What kind of work do you do?

Some jobs require periodic drug testing. Full-spectrum CBD oil contains only a very small amount of THC, but that does not guarantee that it won’t show up on a drug test. You should not take the risk! Avoid THC-containing oils if you are tested. Instead, choose a broad-spectrum CBD product.

Professional athletes tested under WADA regulations cannot use either broad-spectrum or full-spectrum CBD oils! WADA has only removed pure CBD from the banned substance list.

WHAT DOES CBD OIL CONCENTRATION MEAN?

There are many CBD products available, with different labels and confusing wording regarding the active ingredient content. Some products have a percentage or "strong" and "weak" designation on the packaging, which can be confusing and does not make the decision easier if you are buying cannabis oil for the first time.

We will help you navigate: you only need to know one number to be able to dose properly and this is none other than the amount of active ingredient contained in a single drop of CBD oil. Only in this way can you determine exactly how much you are using!

Another important piece of information is how many drops the cannabis oil package contains. This is important if the manufacturer of the product only states how many milligrams of cannabinoids are in the product. If you know how much oil is in the bottle, you can easily calculate how much CBD is contained in one drop.

HOW DO I DOSAGE CBD OIL?

The dosage of CBD oil depends on several factors, such as body weight, metabolism, the condition being treated, and individual sensitivity. It is worth starting with a small dose and increasing the amount of CBD after 4-7 days until you feel a change in your condition. The ingredients of CBD oils are safe and well tolerated by the body, but gradualness is important!

We have summarized in a table the exact CBD dosage recommended to start with and how to progress from the initial dose. Choose the value closest to your weight and start with the value according to Phase 1!

HOW LONG DOES A BOTTLE OF CBD OIL LAST?

This is a frequently asked question, and the only way to get the right answer is to first determine your daily required amount. You can easily do this with the help of our CBD dosage guide.

The CANNADOLTM CBD oils come in 30 ml bottles, each containing 900 drops. Simply divide 900 by the number of drops you use daily, and you’ll know how many days a single bottle will last.

HOW TO TAKE CBD OIL?

CBD should be taken on an empty stomach, either before or at least an hour after a meal. Despite its slightly bitter taste, it is recommended to hold it under the tongue for at least 1 minute, because absorption is more effective through the mucous membrane, but if this does not work, you can also mix it with a spoonful of honey or yogurt. Use the pipette on the bottle to suck up the oil and drop as much under your tongue or into the spoon as your daily CBD dose requires.

HOW LONG IS IT RECOMMENDED TO TAKE CBD OIL?

There is no generally defined or mandatory time limit for taking CBD Oil that requires a break afterward; however, some recommendations and practical experiences can be considered.

General Recommendations for Taking CBD Oil:

In general, CBD can be safely used continuously for several months or even years, especially at low or moderate doses.

For shorter therapeutic courses (for example, sleep disorders, stress management, or pain relief), it may be advisable to take a 1-2 week break after 2-3 months of continuous use. This helps prevent the development of tolerance in the body.

For long-term use
(for example, chronic conditions like anxiety, epilepsy, or chronic pain), many people take CBD Oil continuously for years without tolerance or side effects. Still, even in these cases, it is recommended to take at least a 1-2 week break from time to time—e.g., every 4-6 months—to refresh the body's receptors.

Why is it recommended to take breaks occasionally?

Prevention of tolerance: Over time, the body can get accustomed to CBD, reducing its effectiveness. After a short break, CBD usually works stronger again.

Regeneration of the body’s own endocannabinoid system: Taking a break allows the body’s own cannabinoid system to “reset.”

What should you keep in mind when using CBD Oil long-term?

Dose optimization: During longer use, it might be beneficial to reduce the dose to maintain the body’s sensitivity.

Regular medical consultation: When using CBD Oil over an extended period, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional or treating physician at least once a year.

Specific Recommendation:

2-3 months of continuous use → 1-2 weeks break → repeat.

For chronic issues, 4-6 months of continuous use → 1-2 weeks break → repeat.

This way, the optimal effectiveness of CBD can be maintained even over the long term.

HOW TO STORE CBD OIL?

Refrigeration of CBD oil is not necessary, nor is it recommended, as cold can cause the oil to thicken too much. Store at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. CANNADOLTM products come with a child-safe pipette, but don’t underestimate the ingenuity of children, so store them in a safe place!

HOW IS CANNABIS OIL MADE?

It all starts with choosing the right seed.
At the end of April, the first seed is planted in soil at around 8C and the cannabis harvest begins at the beginning of September. The valuable cannabinoids and essential oils are extracted from the inflorescences of the harvested and dried plants.

The raw cannabis extract produced using the CO2 process is a golden yellow, honey-like substance that contains a large amount of CBD, other cannabinoids, plant waxes, and impurities characteristic of hemp (PAHs), so it must undergo a multi-stage purification process.

During the purification process, harmful PAH compounds and unnecessary plant waxes are also removed.

Raw cannabis extract cannot be dripped without the addition of vegetable oil, so the raw extract with a high CBD content must be diluted with some vegetable oil. The raw extract is mixed with oil made from the plant's own seeds, i.e. hemp seed oil, to obtain its final, drop-able form. CANNADOLTM CBD oils are made using certified organic hemp seed oil.

WHY DILUTE CBD EXTRACT WITH HEMP SEED OIL?

Hemp seed oil is uniquely rich in essential fatty acids (Omega-3 and Omega-6), antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and amino acids. This makes it a significant part of a healthy diet and in supporting the body’s overall well-being.

WHAT IS A GOOD CBD OIL?
MORE THAN JUST CBD

We are stronger together! This is also the case with cannabis compounds. In addition to CBD, there are many other useful components in this wonderful plant, which, reinforcing each other's effects, form a powerful team together. Cannabis varieties that can be grown in the European Union produce the largest amounts of CBD, CBDA, CBG, CBC, CBN, and THC cannabinoids. The more cannabinoids and terpenes we preserve, the more valuable the product we get.

CBD OIL PRICE - WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE BUYING

Among the many dietary supplements and vitamins, CBD oil stands out not only for its wide therapeutic range and effectiveness, but also for its price.

But what could be the reason for this? Why is the price of CBD oil so high compared to other products?

The answer lies in the complications of cultivation and production, and often in marketing.

The cultivation of cannabis, which forms the basis of CBD oils, and the related technology lay in a coma for a long time and only began to find its footing in the mid-2010s, when more and more economic players entered the market as the plant gained social acceptance.

The cultivation of cannabis still requires high energy and human resources, which significantly increases the cost of production and generates a high starting price.

HOW DO I KNOW FOR SURE HOW MUCH CBD IS IN THE OIL?

CANNADOLTM cannabis oils are tested by Austria's leading cannabis testing institute, IFHA.

Every production batch is first sent to IFHA before the products are released on the market. The accredited test result proves that our CBD oils also contain other cannabinoids and shows their amount. You can find these test results in the description of each CANNADOLTM CBD oil.

FAQ

div-fekete.jpg

Which product is recommended for my illness?

Unfortunately, the situation is similar to that of dosing. CBD is not a medicine and cannot be attributed to a disease-preventive, healing effect, even though we know how effective it can. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a product for your illness. It is recommended that you obtain information from a credible online source and consult a CBD-authorized physician.

What does FULL SPEKTRUM mean?

FULL SPEKTRUM means that the product contains as much as possible of the useful natural ingredients can be found in  hemp. Mostly cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids. There are several other cannabinoids in the FULL SPEKTRUM drops and extracts in addition to CBD. Detectable amounts are mostly CBG, CBN, THC, THCV and CBC. It is only recently that we are beginning to understand the synergy effects how terpenes and cannabinoids work together. An important feature of FULL SPEKTRUM products is that they contain the most important cannabis terpenes in their natural form, such as Beta-kariophillin or Humulene.

Is CBD legal?

Yes, CBD is legal to use in all EU member states.

Can I use CBD during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

CBD products are not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as there is not enough research available to confirm the effects of cannabinoids on the fetus.

Can I give my child CBD Oil?

The use of CBD Oil for children is a controversial topic worldwide. Based on current research and health guidelines, the following key points can be highlighted:

Need for medical supervision: In the case of children, using CBD is recommended only after medical consultation and on an individual assessment basis.

Treatment of epilepsy: The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved a CBD-based medicine called Epidiolex for the treatment of two rare and severe epileptic disorders: Dravet syndrome and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. This medication can be used from at least 1 year of age upon medical recommendation, as clinical trials have confirmed its seizure-reducing effects.

Treatment of other conditions: Although some studies suggest that CBD may help with conditions such as autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), sleep disorders, or chronic pain, the current scientific evidence is not yet sufficient to provide general recommendations for use in children.

THC content and children’s safety: For children, it is especially recommended to use THC-free or very low-THC products, as THC can have a significant impact on brain development in early childhood.

In summary, the use of CBD Oil in children is only advised with thorough medical evaluation and supervision, with special attention to THC content and potential long-term effects.

Can I give CBD to my dog or my cat?

The answer is yes. Both dogs and cats have an endocannabinoid system, so they can benefit from CBD. Keep in mind that with dogs, you need to be especially careful with the dosage of full-spectrum products, as their brains have a higher concentration of CB1 receptors, making them more sensitive to the compound called THC.

IS CBD addictive?

No, CBD does not cause addiction.

What is CBDa?

CBDa is the acidic form of CBD. Only CBDa can be found in live Cannabis plant. After harvesting and rooting, CBDa will turn to CBD, mostly because of heat. The CBDa content of hemp products varies depending on the extraction process and the refinement steps after extraction. Based on studies on the field, CBDa transforms to CBD in our body. Are CBDa rich products more beneficial?  It is difficult to answer this question because there is not enough research material available on the subject.

What is CBG?

CBG is often referred to as the mother of cannabinoids, as the cannabis plant produces both CBD and THC from the acidic form of this compound, CBGA. When harvested, it is only contained in small amounts in most licensed hemp varieties, which is why it is one of the most expensive cannabinoids. It is gaining more and more space in cannabis-related research.

How is CBD oil made?

cannadol-fold-j-4-min.png

It all starts with choosing the right seed. A broad cannabinoid and terpene profile can only be guaranteed if cannabis with the right genetics is planted. Of the more than thirty varieties authorized by the European Union, there are only a few that are suitable for producing a high-quality product. Our expertise, careful variety selection and soil with the right nutrients ensure the constant, high quality of CANNADOL© drops.

At the end of April, the first seed is placed in soil at approximately 8C, and the hemp harvest begins in early September. The valuable cannabinoids and essential oils are extracted from the harvested and dried plants. The raw cannabis extract produced by the CO2 process is a golden-yellow, honey-like substance that contains large amounts of CBD, other cannabinoids, plant waxes, and hemp-specific impurities (PAHs), so it must undergo a multi-stage purification process. During the cleaning process, harmful PAH compounds and excess vegetable waxes are also removed. After that, the raw extract is mixed with oil made from the plant's own seeds, i.e. hemp seed oil, and this is how it acquires its final drop-on form.

Why Are CANNADOL CBD Oils More Affordable?

The more hands a product passes through before reaching the end user, the more expensive it becomes, as every participant adds their own markup. Most CBD Oils sold in Hungary are imported products that go from the manufacturer to the wholesaler, then to the distributor, and finally to the retailer before reaching you. This significantly increases the price of CBD Oil, which is already high to begin with, especially if it’s made in Switzerland, where manufacturers have to pay significantly higher hourly wages that ultimately get reflected in the product price.

The CANNADOLTM CBD Oils are produced by us in collaboration with our Slovenian partner. If you buy directly from us, you can access high-quality CBD Oil at a significantly lower price than if you were to purchase it from the end of a multi-layered supply chain.

What could be the reason that CBD Oil is not effective for me?

There are several reasons why CBD Oil may not be effective. Below, we list some of these, but it's important to note that individual experiences and reactions can vary, so the following are just general guidelines.

1. Low-quality product: It’s possible that the CBD Oil you’re using doesn’t contain an adequate amount of the key cannabinoids. Poor-quality products may be ineffective. Make sure you purchase from a reliable source and choose products that have been laboratory tested to confirm their CBD content!

2. Incorrect dosage: Effective CBD dosing can be highly individualized and may vary from person to person. You might not be using enough to achieve the desired effect. It’s important to properly adjust your dose so your body receives an adequate amount of CBD.

3. Cross-tolerance: Certain medications or supplements can influence the effectiveness of CBD. For instance, drugs used to treat epilepsy, such as clobazam or valproate, can interact with CBD. If you’re taking any medications, consult your doctor before starting CBD Oil.

4. Individual response: Our endocannabinoid system can react uniquely to CBD. People vary in their sensitivity to CBD, and some may not notice significant effects. This can also be influenced by genetic factors.

5. Quitting too soon: The effects of CBD aren’t always immediately noticeable. Sometimes it takes longer for your body to respond and for you to observe changes. Give your body time to adjust to the CBD Oil.
